Chart Patterns in Zi Wei Dou Shu

Chart patterns are special star combinations around the Life palace (and its four key palaces) that give a birth chart its distinctive shape. A good pattern can be weakened by malefic stars, Xun Kong or Jie Kong; a difficult pattern can be softened by benefic stars.

Favorable patterns (32)

Zi Fu Tong Gong (Emperor and Treasury Together)

Zi Wei and Tian Fu sit together in the Life palace in Yin or Shen, the emperor star meeting the treasury star under one roof. You tend to live kindly and maturely, plan ahead and hold on to wealth, often with family providing a foundation early on. The pattern grows finer when the trine palaces add Zuo Fu and You Bi, Wen Chang and Wen Qu, or Hua Ke, Hua Quan and Hua Lu in support.

When it is broken: When the four malefics, Di Kong and Di Jie, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong intrude, the kindness remains, but holding wealth and advancing slow down, and you have to build more on your own.

Zi Fu Wu Xiang (The Full Court)

The four key palaces of your Life palace gather Zi Wei, Tian Fu, Wu Qu and Tian Xiang, like a court complete with a ruler, a treasury, talent and a seal. People with this pattern usually suit management and organizing roles, keep order for the group and rise steadily in a stable environment. What to cultivate further is flexibility when circumstances change quickly.

When it is broken: Malefic stars or Hua Ji slipping into the trine loosen that sturdy framework; the position still comes, but through more friction and a longer wait.

Ji Yue Tong Liang (Strategist, Moon, Blessing and Shelter)

Tian Ji, Tai Yin, Tian Tong and Tian Liang gather in the four key palaces of your Life palace, a set of stars for someone resourceful, gentle and dedicated. You suit organizations, administration, advisory roles, education or research, advancing steadily and earning trust. In exchange, this pattern brings few breakthroughs, so keep learning to broaden your reach.

When it is broken: Malefic stars or Hua Ji mixing in can breed hesitation and frequent job changes, so stability arrives later than hoped.

Fu Xiang Chao Yuan (Treasury and Minister Pay Court)

Tian Fu and Tian Xiang both face your Life palace from the trine or opposite palaces, like a treasury and a seal kept in one place. This pattern suggests you are readily trusted by superiors and can hold a steady position and income through careful, reliable work. Keeping your word over the long term lets the pattern reach its full potential.

When it is broken: With the four malefics, Di Kong and Di Jie, or Hua Ji, support comes unevenly; title and income still come, but you must fight for them more yourself.

Zi Fu Chao Yuan (Emperor and Treasury Pay Court)

Zi Wei and Tian Fu do not sit in the Life palace itself but shine on it from the trine and opposite palaces, like two noble patrons standing behind you. You often have a mentor and a backing within an organization and are readily given important work. To get the most from this pattern, actively show your ability instead of just waiting to be lifted up.

When it is broken: When Qing Yang and Tuo Luo, Di Kong and Di Jie, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong block the influence, the backing weakens, results come later and you need to carry more of the load.

Jun Chen Qing Hui (Ruler Meets Able Ministers)

Zi Wei sits in your Life palace joined by Zuo Fu, You Bi and other benefic stars, the image of a ruler meeting capable ministers. It is a sign of a genuine leader: you know how to use people well, and many are willing to support you and entrust you with big tasks. What to preserve is listening to feedback, so power does not distance you from those around you.

When it is broken: With Qing Yang or Di Jie mixed in, helpers are not fully committed, and big projects need more time and patience to succeed.

Lian Zhen Wen Wu (Integrity in Letters and Arms)

A bright Lian Zhen sits in your Life palace in Yin or Shen and meets Wen Chang or Wen Qu, adding a literary touch to the star of discipline. You tend to be accomplished in both letters and action: principled yet skilled at reasoning and presenting, suiting law, management, engineering or well-ordered environments. Tempering your hot temper helps you keep your credibility for the long run.

When it is broken: With Hua Ji, Qing Yang or Tian Xing, the balance of letters and arms is overshadowed by friction; take extra care with paperwork and promises.

Shi Zhong Yin Yu (Jade Hidden in Stone)

Ju Men stands alone in your Life palace in Zi or Wu, the image of jade still hidden inside stone. Your talent tends to reveal itself gradually over time, especially in specialized fields, argumentation, teaching or public commentary; with Hua Lu, Hua Quan and Hua Ke in support, the jade truly shines. Patient polishing will serve you better than rushing for recognition.

When it is broken: With Qing Yang, Hua Ji or Xun Kong and Jie Kong mixed in, the jade takes longer to polish, and your words are easily misunderstood, so choose them carefully.

Ju Ri Tong Gong (Great Gate and Sun Together)

Ju Men and Tai Yang sit together in your Life palace in Yin or Shen, sunlight shining on the gate of speech. People with this pattern usually gain a name first and profit after, are skilled at communicating and persuading, and suit law, media or diplomacy. The pattern is brighter in Yin than in Shen, but both call for speaking responsibly.

When it is broken: Hua Ji landing on Ju Men or Tai Yang can bring gossip along with fame, so be careful when speaking publicly and signing agreements.

Qi Sha Chao Dou (Seven Killings Facing the Dipper)

Qi Sha in its temple sits in your Life palace in Yin, Shen, Zi or Wu, the brave general turning toward the emperor star. You tend to be bold and decisive, able to handle pressure and command respect when leading others, suiting roles that need a pioneer. Let your intensity go hand in hand with listening.

When it is broken: With Qing Yang, Huo Xing and Ling Xing, or Hua Ji mixed in, authority comes with much friction, and success needs more time and a gentler touch.

Ying Xing Ru Miao (Heroic Star in Its Temple)

Po Jun sits in your Life palace in Zi or Wu, where this star is strongest, hence the name "heroic star in its temple." You tend to dare to think and act, good at breaking old patterns to build something new, suiting startups, restructuring and technology. For lasting results, you need a source of Lu or a habit of saving alongside.

When it is broken: With Hua Ji, Di Kong and Di Jie, or Qing Yang and Tuo Luo, the drive remains, but you may spread your investments too thin and find results hard to keep.

Ri Yue Bing Ming (Sun and Moon Both Bright)

Tai Yang and Tai Yin are both bright and shine on your Life palace from the trine, the sun and moon radiating together. People with this pattern are usually clear-sighted and transparent, readily earning a good name and respect in their chosen field. Use that clarity to guide others, and do not let it turn into pressure to be perfect.

When it is broken: Hua Ji landing on the Sun or Moon, or malefic stars gathering, dims the light; recognition comes later and needs more care to keep.

Ming Zhu Chu Hai (Pearl Rising from the Sea)

Your Life palace in Wei has no major star and receives Tai Yang and Tian Liang from Mao and Tai Yin from Hai, like a bright pearl emerging into the open sea. Your talent tends to become widely known, especially once you step into a larger arena, and life gradually becomes abundant. Do not shy away from standing in front of a crowd; that is where you shine.

When it is broken: With the four malefics or Di Kong and Di Jie gathering, the pearl gathers dust; the talent remains, but you must take a roundabout path to be recognized.

Ri Yue Zhao Bi (Sun and Moon Light the Wall)

Tai Yang and Tai Yin share a palace in Chou or Wei, shining on your Life palace from opposite or sitting right in the Property palace. This pattern leans toward homes and land: you readily accumulate fixed assets and have solid support from where you live. Investing for the long haul suits you better than chasing quick flips.

When it is broken: With Hua Ji, Xun Kong and Jie Kong, or malefic stars mixed in, property matters move slowly with more procedures, so check paperwork carefully before buying or selling.

Ri Yue Jia Ming (Sun and Moon Flank the Life Palace)

Tai Yang and Tai Yin sit in the two palaces flanking your Life palace, as if protected by two sources of light. Classical texts say this pattern brings either power or wealth: you are often supported by family and superiors and find a stable footing financially or in status. It is finest when both stars are bright.

When it is broken: If one of the two stars is dim or touched by Hua Ji, the protection thins, and you need more self-reliance to keep what you build.

Ri Zhao Lei Men (Sun Rising at the Thunder Gate)

Tai Yang and Tian Liang sit in your Life palace in Mao, the image of the sun just rising in the east. You tend to blossom fairly early, gain renown and be guided by those who came before you, suiting education, administration, healthcare or professions that rely on public trust. Born during the day, the pattern is even more radiant.

When it is broken: With malefic stars gathering, petty rivals may compete around you; recognition still comes, but you need to be more discreet.

Ri Li Zhong Tian (Sun at High Noon)

Tai Yang sits in your Life palace in Wu, the sun standing at high noon. You carry strong energy and enthusiasm, like to lead and readily stand out in a group, and your reputation can soar. Strong light can also be glaring, so learn to give others the floor so they can shine with you.

When it is broken: Lacking Wen Chang and Wen Qu or Zuo Fu and You Bi, or meeting Di Kong and Di Jie, the sun is partly obscured; fame comes with fewer tangible gains.

Yue Lang Tian Men (Bright Moon at the Gate of Heaven)

Tai Yin sits in your Life palace in Hai, a bright moon shining on the gate of heaven. You are usually graceful and refined, good at saving and gifted in literature and the arts; material life tends to be full and lasting. Born at night, with Wen Chang and Wen Qu alongside, the pattern is even more complete.

When it is broken: Malefic stars sitting right in the Life palace or Hua Ji with Tai Yin dim the moonlight; abundance comes later and emotions fluctuate more.

Shui Cheng Gui E (Clear Water Reflecting Cassia Blossoms)

Tian Tong and Tai Yin sit together in your Life palace in Zi, clear water reflecting cassia blossoms. People with this pattern are usually gentle, high-minded and value integrity, suiting office, education, cultural or research roles. Life tends to run smoothly and grows more stable over time.

When it is broken: With Qing Yang and Tuo Luo, Hua Ji, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong mixed in, ripples stir the water; stability comes later and you need to be more decisive.

Yang Liang Chang Lu (Sun, Shelter, Scholar and Prosperity)

Tai Yang and Tian Liang sit in your Life palace in Mao, joined by Wen Chang and Lu Cun or Hua Lu. This is the pattern of academic success: exams tend to go well, you earn good credentials and advance through expertise and reputation. The deeper you go in your studies, the more you benefit.

When it is broken: Hua Ji or malefic stars gathering make the road of exams and credentials bumpier, calling for thorough preparation and perseverance.

Zuo You Jia Ming (Helpers Flank the Life Palace)

Zuo Fu and You Bi sit in the two palaces flanking your Life palace, as if someone were supporting you on each side. Wherever you go, you readily meet people willing to help, especially siblings and superiors, and shared work usually has helping hands. The pattern works best when the Life palace itself is already strong.

When it is broken: Lacking benefic stars in the trine or meeting malefic stars, the help stays at the level of goodwill and does not become a major boost.

Chang Qu Jia Ming (Scholar Stars Flank the Life Palace)

Wen Chang and Wen Qu flank your Life palace, two literary stars standing guard at the door. You tend to love learning and to write and present well, readily catching the eye of good teachers or educated patrons out in the world. Investing in education is your most rewarding path.

When it is broken: With Hua Ji, Di Kong and Di Jie, or Qing Yang and Tuo Luo, your literary gifts may be blocked, so double-check exams and paperwork.

Kui Yue Jia Ming / Zuo Gui Xiang Gui (Noble Helpers Flank or Face You)

Tian Kui and Tian Yue either flank your Life palace or one sits in the Life palace while the other shines from the Travel palace, two noble-helper stars turning toward you. This pattern shows you readily meet supporters at the right moment, do well in exams and promotions and catch the attention of superiors. Courtesy and gratitude toward those who help you keep this good fortune lasting.

When it is broken: If the major star in the Life palace is dim or malefic stars intrude, helpers come late and you need to actively seek support.

Zuo You Tong Gong (Helpers in the Same Palace)

Zuo Fu and You Bi sit together in your Life palace in Chou or Wei, or Zi Wei sits in your Life palace with these two shining on it. People with this pattern usually have steady supporters, excel at teamwork and are readily given authority to manage a group. With Hua Ke, Hua Quan and Hua Lu added, the pattern is truly complete.

When it is broken: With Qing Yang and Tuo Luo, Di Kong and Di Jie, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong mixed in, help comes and goes, so choose your partners more carefully.

Wen Gui Wen Hua (Literary Laurels and Literary Splendor)

Wen Chang and Wen Qu share your Life palace in Chou or Wei, or shine straight in from the opposite palace, along with benefic stars. You are usually good with words, express yourself clearly and do well in exams and academics. Writing, teaching, legal affairs or media are all fields where you can shine.

When it is broken: With malefic stars, the literary flair fades, and your talent leans more toward skilled craftsmanship than scholarship.

Zi Fu Jia Ming (Emperor and Treasury Flank the Life Palace)

Zi Wei and Tian Fu sit in the two palaces flanking your Life palace, often when the Life palace is in Yin or Shen with Tian Ji and Tai Yin. Protected on both sides by the emperor and the treasury, you tend to be sheltered by family and superiors and rarely left without support. Using that protection to become independent early is the wise move.

When it is broken: Qing Yang and Tuo Luo, Di Kong and Di Jie, or Hua Ji in the flanking palaces thin the protection, and you must handle more on your own.

Shuang Lu (Double Prosperity)

Lu Cun and Hua Lu both appear in your Life palace or gather in the trine, two sources of prosperity meeting. You readily have multiple income streams, a good sense for money and strong saving habits, especially when you combine steady income with side work. Keep your spending disciplined so the fortune does not slip away.

When it is broken: With Di Kong and Di Jie, Hua Ji, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong mixed in, money comes and goes quickly, so set aside a fixed savings fund.

Lu Ma Jiao Chi (Prosperity Rides the Sky Horse)

Lu Cun or Hua Lu meets Tian Ma among the four key palaces of your Life palace, fortune arriving in your footsteps. You tend to earn well through travel, trade, doing business far away or work tied to transportation, import-export or tourism. The more active you are, the more your income opens up.

When it is broken: With Xun Kong and Jie Kong or Di Kong and Di Jie, you travel a lot but earn less than you should, so calculate costs carefully before each business trip.

San Qi Jia Hui (Three Wonders Assemble)

Hua Lu, Hua Quan and Hua Ke all gather in the four key palaces of your Life palace, three blessings arriving together. People with this pattern often have wealth, authority and renown, with studies, career and finances supporting each other. The foundation is already good; what matters is daring to seize opportunities when they come.

When it is broken: With Hua Ji, Di Kong and Di Jie, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong mixed in, the three blessings are incomplete; you often gain two and miss one, or they do not arrive at the same time.

San Hua Lian Zhu (Three Transformations Strung Like Pearls)

Hua Lu, Hua Quan and Hua Ke sit in three consecutive palaces, usually the Life palace and its two neighbors, like a string of pearls. You readily enjoy one stroke of luck after another, with one success leading to the next and your career advancing steadily. Noticing and seizing even small opportunities helps you make the most of that chain of luck.

When it is broken: Malefic stars or Hua Ji breaking into the chain interrupt the luck, so be patient and wait for the next wave.

Huo Tan / Ling Tan (Fire and Desire)

Tan Lang meets Huo Xing or Ling Xing, finest when they share a palace in Chen, Xu, Chou or Wei. This is a fast-rising pattern: you can experience sudden leaps in money or position, especially in business and competitive fields. The faster the rise, the more firmly you must hold on, so never put all your capital into a single bet.

When it is broken: Hua Ji, or Di Kong and Di Jie, Qing Yang and Tuo Luo in the same palace, make the leap less durable; you rise quickly but find it hard to stay up.

Empty Life Palace with the Three Voids

Your Life palace has no major star; one Void star sits right in it and two other Void stars are in the trine or opposite palaces. Classical texts regard this as an unusual pattern of wealth and status: you may catch unexpected breaks and rise through ideas or a path of your own. Results often do not last without a plan to preserve them, so save while things are going well.

When it is broken: If your Life palace holds many other stars or meets malefic stars, the pattern easily turns illusory, so steer clear of overly far-fetched plans.

Double-edged patterns (11)

Sha Po Lang (Killings, Breaker and Desire)

Your Life palace is ruled by one of the trio Qi Sha, Po Jun and Tan Lang; since the three always form a trine, your life moves to the rhythm of change. You tend to be dynamic and willing to take risks, suiting business, technical work or turbulent periods; bright stars bring quick success, dim stars bring sharp ups and downs. Keeping a reserve fund and knowing when to stop are the keys.

When it is broken: With benefic stars, Lu, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong alongside, the ups and downs soften; the drive remains with less wear and tear.

Tan Wu Tong Xing (Desire and Wealth Walk Together)

Wu Qu and Tan Lang share a palace in Chou or Wei, the wealth star traveling with the star of ambition. In youth you often have to hustle and try many things; somewhere past thirty you hit your stride and clearly improve through business and trade. The biggest lesson is patience, not rushing to succeed early.

When it is broken: With Huo Xing, Ling Xing or Hua Lu in support, the hard stretch is shorter and results come sooner and more solidly.

Ju Ji Tong Lin (Great Gate and Strategist in Mao or You)

Ju Men and Tian Ji share your Life palace in Mao or You, a calculating mind meeting a gift for speech. You are usually smart, full of strategies, sharp in argument and keen in business, and Mao tends to be smoother than You. The downside is a tendency toward verbal disputes or overthinking, so choose few words but solid ones.

When it is broken: With Hua Quan, Hua Lu or benefic stars in support, verbal disputes settle down and your intelligence is put to better use.

Lian Sha (Integrity and Seven Killings)

Lian Zhen and Qi Sha share a palace in Chou or Wei, two tough stars meeting. The good side of this pattern is endurance and diligent saving that gradually brings comfort, suiting disciplined or technical work; with Qing Yang, Tian Xing or Hua Ji, pay attention to travel safety and legal friction. A slow but steady pace is your real advantage.

When it is broken: Benefic stars, Hua Lu or Xun Kong and Jie Kong alongside reduce friction and risk, giving your persistence room to flourish.

Zi Po in Chen, Xu, Chou or Wei (Emperor and Army Breaker)

Zi Wei shares a palace with Po Jun in Chou or Wei, or Zi Wei and Tian Xiang sit in Chen or Xu facing Po Jun, leadership paired with a spirit of reform. With Zuo Fu, You Bi and benefic stars in support, you can take on big undertakings, dare to restructure and get things done; without support you may be hasty and unpredictable, with tense relationships. Keeping your word and staying committed to your goals will help you greatly.

When it is broken: With Zuo Fu and You Bi, Hua Ke, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong to balance things, the erratic streak settles and ambition is directed at the right work.

Zi Tan in Mao or You (Emperor and Desire)

Zi Wei and Tan Lang sit together in your Life palace in Mao or You, which classical texts call "peach blossom challenging the ruler." You have charisma and a love of beauty and enjoyment, and your love life tends to be colorful; with Di Kong and Di Jie you may instead turn strongly toward spirituality and self-cultivation. When Zi Wei transforms into Hua Quan or Hua Ke, or Tan Lang into Hua Lu, the pattern turns favorable and charisma becomes a gift for networking.

When it is broken: Lu Cun, Huo Xing and Ling Xing, or Zuo Fu and You Bi alongside help rein in desire, so your charisma serves your work and healthy relationships.

Qing Yang Ru Miao (Qing Yang in Its Temple)

Qing Yang sits in your Life palace in Chen, Xu, Chou or Wei, where this malefic star is well placed. You tend to be brave and resolute, thrive under competition and suit business, sports, technical work or disciplined environments. With benefic stars alongside, toughness becomes authority; without them, cultivate gentleness to avoid friction.

When it is broken: With benefic stars, Hua Lu, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong in the trine, the rough edges soften and bravery becomes true strength of character.

Ma Tou Dai Jian (Sword on the Horse's Head)

Qing Yang sits in your Life palace in Wu, which classical texts liken to a horse wearing a sword on its head. With Tian Tong, Tai Yin or Tan Lang plus benefic stars, you can carry authority, take on tough jobs and make a name in competitive fields; standing alone with Huo Xing, Ling Xing, Di Kong or Di Jie, life brings more bumps. Pay attention to safety when traveling and during strenuous activity.

When it is broken: Benefic stars and Hua Lu gathering help your sharpness find the right use, with fewer collisions and minor mishaps.

Yang Tuo Jia Ming (Qing Yang and Tuo Luo Flank the Life Palace)

Lu Cun sits in your Life palace, so it is always flanked by Qing Yang and Tuo Luo, fortune that comes with constraints. You usually have resources but work hard to keep them, often feel you shoulder responsibilities alone and face pressure from both sides. Learning to share the load and open up to trustworthy people lightens your burden a great deal.

When it is broken: When the major star in your Life palace is bright and benefic stars support it, the pressure on both sides eases and your fortune stays more intact.

Empty Life Palace (No Major Star)

Your Life palace has no major star, so the stars of the opposite Travel palace are borrowed for the reading. You tend to be flexible and adaptable, blending in easily but also easily influenced by circumstances and the people around you, with many changes in youth. Defining your core values early will help you stand more firmly.

When it is broken: With Xun Kong and Jie Kong, the Void stars, or a bright Sun and Moon shining in, the empty Life palace becomes an advantage and feels far less unsteady.

Shen Ming Tong Gong (Body and Life Palace Together)

You were born in the Zi or Wu hour, so your Body palace and Life palace coincide. Your character usually stays consistent from youth to old age; you live by your own lights, and success or failure is largely up to you. A strong Life palace is very strong, while a weaker one has little to compensate, so it pays all the more to invest in yourself and choose the right environment.

When it is broken: With Xun Kong and Jie Kong or benefic stars supporting the Life palace, the all-or-nothing tendency softens and life moves more evenly.

Unfavorable patterns (11)

Wu Sha / Wu Po (Wealth with Killings or Breaker)

Wu Qu shares a palace with Qi Sha in Mao or You, or with Po Jun in Si or Hai, the wealth star meeting a star of upheaval. Your finances may see many storms: you tend to take risks for money and find it hard to keep old savings, and should also be careful with machinery, electricity and metal tools. In return you have real skill and work capacity, and a specialist path will keep you steadier.

When it is broken: With Hua Lu, Hua Quan, Hua Ke or Wen Chang and Wen Qu, the downsides ease considerably and your craft becomes a stable source of income.

Ri Yue Fan Bei (Sun and Moon Turn Their Backs)

Tai Yang or Tai Yin sits in your Life palace in a weak position, and you were born at an hour out of step with the star, as if the sun and moon had turned their backs. You may work hard yet receive little recognition, become self-reliant early and sometimes feel distant from parents or superiors. Steady, genuine effort and actively presenting your results will help you be seen for who you are.

When it is broken: With Xun Kong and Jie Kong, Hua Ke or Hua Quan, the pattern can turn favorable, and early hardship becomes a solid foundation.

Yang Tuo Jia Ji (Obstacle Hemmed In)

Lu Cun and Hua Ji are both in your Life palace, flanked by Qing Yang and Tuo Luo, like a locked treasury. You may meet obstacles when getting things off the ground, get caught up in gossip and have money that is hard to put to work. Moving slowly, keeping paperwork clear and speaking gently are effective ways to untie the knot.

When it is broken: With Hua Ke, Hua Quan, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong to relieve it, the squeeze loosens and work gradually flows.

Kong Jie Jia Ming (Di Kong and Di Jie Flank the Life Palace)

Di Kong and Di Jie sit in the two palaces flanking your Life palace, usually when the Life palace is in Si or Hai. Your life tends to bring unexpected expenses and frequent changes of job or home, and plans are easily disrupted. Keeping an emergency fund, avoiding speculation and choosing a long-term direction will keep you steadier.

When it is broken: When the major star in your Life palace is in temple or prosperous position, or meets Hua Lu, Hua Quan or benefic stars, the squeeze eases greatly and losses shrink.

Huo Ling Jia Ming (Two Fires Flank the Life Palace)

Huo Xing and Ling Xing flank your Life palace, two flames standing side by side. You may be hasty, decide on emotion and often run into urgent matters and small clashes. Pausing a few beats before reacting and taking care with fire and electricity will help you avoid many hassles.

When it is broken: With Tan Lang in your Life palace, the pattern actually turns favorable; with benefic stars or Xun Kong and Jie Kong, the hot temper also cools.

Xing Qiu Jia Yin (The Seal Hemmed In)

Tian Xiang, the star of the seal, is pressed by Qing Yang or Hua Ji, typically Lian Zhen and Tian Xiang in Zi or Wu meeting Qing Yang. You may feel pressure from legal matters, contracts and paperwork, and at times get drawn into needless disputes. Working transparently, reading carefully before signing and avoiding acting as a guarantor are the best ways to protect yourself.

When it is broken: With Hua Ke, Jie Shen, Tian Jie, or Xun Kong and Jie Kong, paperwork pressure drops considerably and matters are usually resolved smoothly.

Chang Qu Meets a Weak Lian Zhen

Wen Chang or Wen Qu shares a palace with a weak Lian Zhen in Si, Hai, Mao or You, letters meeting a faltering star of discipline. You may run into trouble over documents, signatures and commitments, so be careful with contracts and regulations. At the same time, keep a balanced routine and avoid prolonged overwork.

When it is broken: With Hua Lu, Hua Ke or benefic stars gathering, paperwork troubles ease and your way with words becomes an asset again.

Fan Shui Tao Hua (Peach Blossoms Adrift on Water)

Tan Lang in Zi meets Qing Yang, or in Hai meets Tuo Luo, like peach petals drifting on water. You tend to be amorous and fun-loving, easily drawn into parties and gossip about your love life. Setting clear boundaries in relationships and channeling your charm into art or professional communication turns a weakness into a strength.

When it is broken: Xun Kong and Jie Kong or benefic stars alongside help rein in the free-spiritedness, directing your charm toward worthwhile pursuits.

Liang Ma Piao Dang (Shelter Adrift on Horseback)

A weak Tian Liang in Si or Hai meets Tian Ma in the same or opposite palace, the sheltering star swept along by galloping hooves. You often change jobs and homes and find it hard to settle in one place for long. Choosing a profession that lets you move while still building expertise turns wandering into a wealth of experience.

When it is broken: With benefic stars or Hua Lu gathering, you remain comfortable, with only a little unease whenever you have to change environments.

Ma Luo Kong Wang (Horse Falls into the Void)

Tian Ma in your Life or Travel palace meets Xun Kong, Jie Kong or the Void stars, the horse stumbling into empty space. You may rush around a lot with results that do not match the effort, and trips far from home often do not go as planned. Planning carefully and choosing fewer goals to pursue to the end works better than running in many directions.

When it is broken: With Lu Cun or Hua Lu alongside, your trips are less in vain and still bring back some benefit.

Ming Li Feng Kong (Life Palace Meets the Void)

Your Life palace in Si or Hai has no major star, and Di Kong and Di Jie sit there. You often earn but find it hard to keep, with gains eroded by unforeseen events. Prioritizing lasting assets such as knowledge, skills and an emergency fund will be your firmest support.

When it is broken: With Xun Kong and Jie Kong, benefic stars or Hua Lu shining in, losses clearly shrink and more of your effort is preserved.
