Frequently asked questions
How is a lifetime Zi Wei chart different from a regular zodiac reading?
A zodiac reading uses only your birth year, so everyone born that year gets the same result. A Zi Wei Dou Shu chart uses your birth hour, day, month, year and gender to place more than 100 stars in 12 palaces, so almost everyone gets a unique chart: personality, career, wealth, love and the 10-year luck periods of your life.
What if I don’t know my exact birth time?
Your birth hour sets your Life and Body palaces, so it matters a lot. Each traditional hour spans 2 clock hours (Zi hour is 11 p.m.–1 a.m., Chou hour is 1–3 a.m.…), so you only need the rough window. If you’re unsure, try the two neighboring hours and see which chart sounds more like you.
Which school of star placement do you follow?
We follow Tu Vi Dau So Tan Bien by Thai Thu Lang, the most widely used school in Vietnam. Star positions are cross-checked against sample charts from major chart sites. Lunar dates follow the Chinese calendar (UTC+8).
Is my information saved?
No. Your chart is built right on your device, and we never send your birth date or time anywhere. Your browser only remembers your last entry so you don’t have to type it again.
Zi Wei Dou Shu is cultural lore for reflection and entertainment. A chart shows tendencies; it does not replace medical, legal or financial advice.
