Ace of Wands — Upright
The Ace of Wands is like the first spark flaring up, carrying inspiration and intense vitality. A new idea is being born, waiting for you to grab it and fan it into a big flame.
Today’s Message
The Ace of Wands is like the first spark bursting into flame, bringing inspiration and strong vitality. Today a new idea, plan, or passion may kindle within you. This is an ideal time to begin, because the energy of initiation is running high.
Advice: Take the first step toward your new idea today, even if it is just a note or a phone call.
Love
In love, a strong attraction may appear, bringing a rush of excitement. If you are single, you may easily meet someone who makes your heart race, or find the courage to start the conversation. If you are in a relationship, you have a chance to rekindle the flame of passion through new experiences together.
Advice: Suggest an activity the two of you have never done together, like learning something new or exploring an unfamiliar place.
Career
At work, a new project, opportunity, or idea is opening up, a good fit for showing creativity and initiative. This could be the time to launch an initiative, take on a new assignment, or start a course. Your enthusiasm is contagious for the whole team.
Advice: Write a short proposal for your idea and send it to the person in charge this week while the inspiration is still hot.
Finances
With money, the Ace of Wands suggests a new income stream that may start from your own skills or passions. That could be a side job, a handmade product, or a small service. However, early enthusiasm needs to come with planning so you do not overspend on getting started.
Advice: Test your side-income idea at the smallest, lowest-cost scale before putting in more time and money.
Self
Within yourself, you are brimming with vitality and a desire to do something meaningful. This is a good time to start a new habit, such as exercise, learning a skill, or pursuing a hobby. The fire inside reminds you that you can do more than you think.
Advice: Choose one positive habit and commit to doing it every day for seven days in a row.
AdviceSeize this spark of inspiration and start while the excitement lasts.
Reversed
Ace of Wands — Reversed
Reversed, the flame of inspiration may be flickering or smothered by procrastination. This energy invites you to look at what is draining your motivation and gently rekindle it.
Today’s Message
With the Ace of Wands reversed, the flame of inspiration may be flickering or smothered by procrastination and doubt. You have ideas but do not know where to start, or a new beginning is being slowed down. This energy invites you to find out what is draining your motivation.
Advice: Pick the smallest possible step for an unfinished plan and work on it for fifteen minutes today.
Love
In love, enthusiasm may be fading, or the two of you are out of sync. If you are single, you may meet new people without feeling a spark, or hesitate to start over. If you are in a relationship, you may fall into a rut, missing the moments that once made you crazy about each other.
Advice: Recall together what first drew you to each other and plan a date that brings back that feeling.
Career
At work, an idea or project may be delayed by lack of preparation, resources, or confidence. You may feel bored with your current tasks and not in the mood to dive in. Do not wait for perfect inspiration; let action create the motivation.
Advice: Break the stalled project into small tasks and finish the first one before the day ends.
Finances
Financially, a plan to earn extra may not have gotten off the ground, or you may be rushing to spend on an untested idea. This is not the time to pour in more resources but to prepare more thoroughly. Patience will help you avoid unnecessary losses.
Advice: Draw up a table of projected costs and income for your idea before spending anything more.
Self
Inside, you may feel sluggish, low on energy, or disconnected from what once excited you. That is a sign you need to rest and recharge, not that you are burned out for good. The fire will return when you take proper care of yourself.
Advice: Prioritize enough sleep and light exercise over the next few days so your body and mind have time to recover.
AdviceDon’t wait for perfect inspiration; act, and inspiration will find you.
